When any engine is started even the very best oils are of little value, as when the engine is idle the oil drains away into the sump at the bottom of the engine.
For a brief time until the oil is pumped upwards to relubricate the engine parts, metal rubs against metal causing excessive wear. This happens each time the engine is started.
